Importance of Quality:

In an industry where quality is of the utmost importance, products that meet the strictest of requirements are essential. At Western Titanium, materials undergo extensive metallurgical testing at mills or independent testing facilities to ensure that requested specifications are met. All shipments include mill test reports, ensuring that our stock is completely traceable.

Western Titanium Quality Clauses:

1. Western Titanium, Inc., its customers and certain regulatory agencies reserve the right of entry to suppliers’ facilities and quality records to verify quality of work pertaining to the Purchase Order.

2. Supplier is required to flow down to sub tier suppliers all the applicable requirements in the purchasing documents, including key characteristics where required.

3. Supplier is required to notify Western Titanium of any non-conforming products. Authority to ship non-conforming product or non-conformance to the PO must be obtained prior to shipment.

4. Supplier is required to retain, store and manage disposition of all quality records related to the order for a period of 7 years.

5. Any verification by Western Titanium will not be used as evidence of effective control of quality by the supplier and does not absolve the supplier the responsibility to provide acceptable products nor shall it preclude subsequent rejection by Western Titanium.

6. Each alloy/grade/type shall be segregated and each Heat/Lot number of each alloy/grade/type being shipped or supplied must be segregated, packaged separately and clearly identified and traceable.

7. Supplier quality system must comply with Mil-I-45208 or better.

8. Traceability of all products shall be maintained. This shall include applicable certifications, routers, process sheets and special process certifications.

9. For raw material suppliers, original mill certifications are required unless otherwise noted. All certifications MUST BE LEGIBLE.

10. Please indicate class 50 on Bills of Lading to the freight carrier.
